As our business continues to grow in scale and complexity, we are strengthening our revenue accounting function to ensure operational excellence, technical rigor, and scalable financial reporting.
As Revenue Manager, you will play a critical technical leadership role within the revenue team. You will own first-level review of revenue close activities, lead technical revenue accounting analysis, and serve as a key partner in evaluating complex contracts and new product initiatives. Your expertise will help ensure our revenue recognition processes remain consistent, well-documented, and aligned with ASC 606 as the business evolves.
This role offers meaningful visibility and impact — supporting cross-functional initiatives, influencing revenue policy, and helping elevate the technical capabilities of the broader team.
What You’ll Do- Revenue Close & Review
- Lead first-level review of monthly revenue recognition activities prepared by the team
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue schedules for accuracy and completeness
- Oversee complex contract reviews, including contract modifications, non-standard deal structures, and consumption-based revenue recognition.
- Ensure timely and accurate revenue reporting in accordance with ASC 606
- Technical Accounting & Policy
- Research and document accounting conclusions for complex revenue transactions
- Draft and maintain technical revenue memos, including quarterly revenue reporting memos
- Maintain and enhance the company’s revenue recognition policy
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ASC 606
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Product, Data, and F&S to evaluate revenue implications of new products, pricing strategies, and evolving deal structures
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from a revenue accounting perspective
- Provide clear accounting guidance on non-standard or strategic transactions
- Controls & Process Improvement
- Strengthen documentation, review procedures, and revenue-related internal controls
- Support external audit processes related to revenue
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency within revenue operations
- Team Support
- Provide technical guidance and coaching the team
- Elevate the team’s technical depth and review quality
- 6–9+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant focus on revenue recognition
- Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606, including contracts with multiple performance obligations, contract modifications, SSP analysis, and variable consideration
- Experience reviewing complex contracts and non-standard deal structures
- Experience leading or reviewing monthly revenue close processes
- Demonstrated ability to research, document, and defend accounting conclusions
- Experience working in a SaaS or technology company environment
- Strong understanding of internal controls and audit requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA and/or Big 4 public accounting experience
- Experience drafting technical accounting memos for external auditors
- Experience supporting pricing model evolution or new revenue streams
- Exposure to IPO readiness or public company reporting environments
- Experience driving revenue process automation or system enhancements

We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience, including salary, equity, and where applicable, performance-based pay. In select locations (including Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC, and Seattle), an alternate range may apply, as specified below.

- $146,000 - $177,300 USD
- The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed is:
- $163,000 - $197,000 USD
