About us

Encord is the universal data layer for AI that helps 300+ AI teams train and run models on the right data. Our platform indexes, curates, annotates, and evaluates data across the full AI lifecycle, from development through production. Trusted by Woven by Toyota, AXA, UiPath, Zipline, and more.

We're an ambitious team of 100+ working at the frontier of AI and have raised $60M in Series C funding from Wellington Management, CRV, Next47 and Y Combinator.

The role

Think founder associate, but for revenue. You'll work directly with our revenue leadership as a force multiplier across the GTM org. It's a high-leverage role where you own the projects that shape how Encord grows and how well our team sells.
You'll spend your time across three streams:

  1. Revenue strategy & operations. Owning the projects that move the needle: pricing experiments, segmentation, forecasting, pipeline analytics and deal desk support. You'll build the dashboards and processes that scale our GTM function, and use that data to spot where the team needs coaching or better tools.

  2. Sales enablement. Making our sellers and CSMs better, faster. You'll own onboarding for new reps and build the playbooks, talk tracks, battlecards and demo narratives our team uses every day. You'll run training sessions, review calls and turn what our best people do into something everyone can repeat. You'll also be the bridge between product and the field, so every launch lands with a team that knows how to sell it.

  3. Cross-functional execution. Partnering with sales, customer success, marketing and RevOps on special projects like new geography launches, vertical plays and ICP refinement. You'll prep board and exec materials, sit in on key deals, and step in wherever revenue leadership needs an extra brain and pair of hands.

About you

  • You make people around you better. You've trained, coached, onboarded or mentored others, and you get a kick out of seeing someone go from confused to confident.

  • You're a great communicator. You can explain a technical product simply, present to a room, and write docs that people actually read and use.

  • You understand the seller's world. Ideally you've carried a number, run customer calls or worked closely with a sales team, so you know what reps need to win.

  • You're a builder. You see a messy process and you fix it, whether that's a broken onboarding flow or a missing dashboard.

  • You build stuff with Claude. All the time.

  • You're commercially sharp. You're comfortable with numbers and use data to make decisions, but you're equally at home in a customer call, a training session or a strategy doc.

  • You're ambitious. You want to rise faster than a "normal" career allows and you're happy to roll up your sleeves. You might want to become a future Head of Enablement, Head of RevOps, VP Sales or GTM leader.

  • You've consistently performed in the top percentile of whatever environment you've been in, whether in education, business, sport or a previous role.

Why Encord

  • Competitive salary and equity in a hyper growth business.

  • Strong in-person culture: most of our team is in the office 4+ days a week.

  • 25 days annual leave a year + public holidays.

  • Annual learning and development budget.

  • Paid trips to visit prospects, attend conferences, host events across UK, Europe and US.

  • Company lunches twice a week.

  • Monthly socials & bi-annual off-sites.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
