Make Your Mark:
The Revenue Finance Manager, will be responsible for leading the revenue forecasting, reporting, and accounting processes. This role requires a deep understanding of revenue recognition under ASC 606, strong technical accounting expertise, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial results. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
You'll Get To:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, (such as ARR, Gross and net bookings, billings, RPO, cRPO, and customer count) ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Lead in forecasting and analyzing revenue performance across multiple product lines and customer segments.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and internal accounting policies.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Revenue Accounting, FP&A, and Legal teams on contract review and structuring from a revenue perspective.
  • Lead the development of revenue forecasting models to support strategic planning and financial forecasting. Design and maintain models that project revenue based on key business drivers, including subscription bookings, churn and attrition, pricing changes, and product mix.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve revenue-related discrepancies, partnering cross-functionally to implement corrective actions. Responsibilities include monthly analysis and bridging of revenue and billings variances to plan and prior forecasts, incorporating the impact of foreign exchange (FX), and reconciling differences between recognized revenue and published ARR at the customer level.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights into business performance and key top-line metrics, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of revenue finance processes, controls, and systems.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects related to system implementations, process improvements, and new product launches.
  • Drive continuous process improvements aimed at accelerating revenue close cycle times and enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of ARR reconciliations.
  • Opportunity for expanded scope over time to include strategic finance initiatives, such as ownership of key financial metrics, customer and product profitability analysis, and support for pricing strategy development.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting or revenue finance, ideally with exposure to SaaS or technology companies.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), Adaptive, Anaplan and revenue recognition systems (e.g., Zuora Revenue) is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience building financial models and revenue analysis templates.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Experience working in a public company environment or supporting SEC reporting requirements.

Salary Range:
USD $141,000.00 - USD $176,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
