Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for Quality & Reliability Engineering on uncooled sensor assemblies with focus on supporting Automotive products. Environment is general office.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Member of Product Team(s) across all relevant phases of FLIR’s Product Lifecycle Management process.
- Per AIAG, conduct and or support APQP and PPAP activities including report generation.
- Product Reliability
- Generate monthly field reliability metrics & Paretos
- Responsible for containment, failure analysis, root cause and corrective actions
- Conduct environmental qualification and delta qualification testing
- Responsible for plans, testing and reports
- Responsible for on-going reliability testing
- Responsible for environmental stress screening plans (burn-in / ESS)
- Responsible for reliability predictions via accelerated life testing and modeling
- Generate monthly field reliability metrics & Paretos
- Customer Support
- Responsible for responding to customer corrective action requests (SCARs etc.)
- Directs containment, failure analysis, root cause and corrective actions
- Responsible for customer quality communication / interaction / regular meetings
- Production Process Support
- Supports the non-conforming material process
- Defective Material Reports / MRB / Scrap Transactions
- Supplier corrective action communication and follow-up
- Containment, failure analysis, root cause and corrective actions
- Supports Receiving Inspection plans, first articles and on-going receiving inspection as required
- Supports the non-conforming material process

Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Quality, Reliability or Manufacturing Engineering experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment with direct experience on Automotive products and processes - required
- BS degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred) - required
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Statistical Software computer applications (JMP preferred) - required
- Technical report writing and presentations - required
- ISO 9001 Quality Systems, IATF 16949 experience desired
- Strong Six Sigma knowledge and experience (gage & process control, experimental design) - required
- Strong problem solving skills and experience such as Kepner-Tregoe ATS or equivalent - required
- Clean room & ESD protocols – required
- Environmental & Reliability test experience – required
- Experience with infrared camera manufacturing - desired

Salary Range:
$113,600.00-$151,400.000
