Solenis is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Pricing Manager to drive pricing excellence across an assigned region or business unit. In this high-impact role, you will shape pricing strategy, strengthen profitability, and partner closely with commercial, sales, marketing, and leadership teams. Your work will directly influence business performance and support our long-term growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end pricing strategy for the region/business unit, using competitive intelligence, historical pricing insights, and pocket price leakage analysis to develop strong, commercially aligned pricing approaches. You will also identify opportunities for optimization and support long-term segment strategy and profitability improvements.
- Advise on key customer deals and commercial outcomes, working with sales and marketing to review proposals, refine pricing structures, support contract development, and ensure the value of differentiated products and services is fully captured. Your guidance will help teams navigate complex negotiations and drive stronger margins.
- Own all pricing governance and administration, including price list development, new product pricing, internal communication of pricing changes, and ongoing price book management. You will oversee compliance, manage exceptions, ensure accurate system updates (e.g., SFDC), and provide clear direction as the pricing subject matter expert.
- Monitor pricing performance and deliver actionable insights, conducting win/loss reviews, tracking price history, and presenting your findings to executive stakeholders. You will influence commercial decision-making and help drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- MBA preferred; BS in Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in chemical/manufacturing environments or commercial roles, with strong pricing process expertise.
- A strategic, analytical mindset with the ability to apply solutions to real business challenges.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
- Strong financial skills and experience using pricing or commercial systems; proficiency in Excel, with exposure to tools like SFDC, PriceFx, and Tableau.
- A growth-oriented and profitability-focused approach, with the confidence to question assumptions and dive into detail when needed.
- Ability to quickly learn Solenis’ markets, customers, and technologies.
- Ideal backgrounds include marketing professionals or high-performing sales personnel with a strong track record of net-margin success.
This is a remote position with little travel required.
