A successful Regional Partner Sales Manager is viewed as a trusted advisor to sales leadership, a strategic partner to key alliance organizations, and a catalyst for pipeline growth and revenue acceleration. They consistently create measurable business outcomes through partner engagement, influence strategic opportunities, and establish repeatable motions that drive sustainable regional growth. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, partner management, business planning, executive communication, operational discipline, and cross-functional leadership.
Your role within the team:
- The Regional Partner Sales Manager (PSM) is responsible for driving all partner-related business activity within an assigned Dynatrace sales region.
- This role operates as a strategic extension of the regional sales leadership team and is accountable for building partner-led pipeline, accelerating revenue growth, influencing strategic opportunities, and ensuring alignment between Dynatrace, partners, and field sales teams.
- The PSM serves as the primary partner advocate within the region, working closely with the Regional Vice President, Sales Directors, Account Executives, National Partner Managers, Hyperscaler teams, Marketing, and Enablement organizations to execute a comprehensive partner growth strategy.
- This role may also carry an additional responsibility or developing and accelerating a portfolio of incubating partners whose businesses demonstrate the potential to become strategic National Partners.
- The Regional Partner Sales Manager is responsible for all Partner business within an assigned Dynatrace Sales Region.
Functional responsibilities are as follows:
- Aligned to the Sales Regional Vice President and all Sales Directors within Region.
- Build, own and operate a comprehensive Regional Partner Business Plan that includes Scorecard + QBR + Marketing & Comms Plan + Pipeline Creation / Demand Gen + Account Targets + Forecast
- Build and manage top 3-4 Regional Partners as agreed to by Sales RVP & Directors.
- Responsible for National Partner deals + execution of pipeline gen activities that land in Region.
- Understand National and Regional Partner capabilities / differentiation and put them “in play.”
- Act as POC for non-national partners HQ’d within Region (i.e. partner agreement, certs, NFR requests).
- Support in Region SI deals and evaluate opportunities for “Power of 3” with Hyperscalers.
- Drive and own Region PDRs & Teaming Agreements in and out quarter.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with all cross functional and support teams to drive Region Plan.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- An extensive track record in software sales, systems integration delivery / business development, channel management.
- Proven experience of working with various partners.
- Experience within, or an understanding of what observability is and why it matters.
- A proven track record of overachievement against targets
- A track record of recruiting Partners and generating new business revenues.
- Solution development experience in a software/services environment Managed Services, Digital Agency, and ISV ecosystem experience is a plus.
- Must be fluent in English.

- The base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000. When determining your salary, we consider your experience, skills, education, and work location.
