We're on the hunt for a dynamic HRBP who can strategically partner with Atlassian Engineering leadership to help us scale and deliver best-in-class services to our teams. In your role, you will help to build a high performing business team by solving spicy problems, curating development for leaders and architecting the culture of the teams you support.
Our HR Partners drive the business and constructively challenge leadership, employees and HR partners for purposes of improving outcomes or processes and mentor all levels of management. You will improve leader capability through 1:1 mentoring and/or focused organisational interventions. At the end of the day, we also see you measuring business impact of people practices and solutions implemented to help us build the best possible workplace we can for our outstanding Atlassians.
In this role:
- Partner with central HR functions, you'll drive strategies and plans for 2025 and beyond.
- Supporting your client groups by using your communication, coaching, and organisation design skills to influence Engineering managers and execute on the Engineering HR strategy.
- Partnering with People Managers through core HR processes/programs (performance management, compensation planning etc.), providing insightful analytics and recommending actions to clients, as well as partnering with other HR areas to initiate, develop and deliver HR solutions.
- Champion & drive our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies into talent acquisition, manager growth and development, employee experience, and organisational health.
- Drive our Early Career Program to build a robust talent pipeline
- In partnership with People Analytics tools provide insightful analytics, trends, and recommended actions to clients to guide planning, program design, decision-making, and measures of success.
On your first day, we will expect that:
- You have extensive HR experience with progressively challenging responsibilities in Business Partner roles inclusive of high-growth companies
- Experience working with global/international teams expanding into emerging markets, while excelling in high growth, global organizations.
- Highly collaborative approach with the ability to quickly build strong and trusted relationships across leadership teams, cross-functional partners, and key stakeholders.
- Energy to get things done in an iterative approach and willingness to jump from strategy to development to change management in order to scale programs aimed at driving business outcomes.
- Excellent business storytelling skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to translate "HR speak" and data insights into an accessible, influential narrative.
- Critical thinker and analytic-minded with success in developing data-driven solutions to the business.
- Business-first mindset with an ability to work at multiple levels of the HR stack; primarily focused on strategic impact while being comfortable driving programs linked to clear business outcomes.
