They combine strategic sales, relationship management, and deep domain expertise to deliver complex solutions and guide market strategy.
This position manages the sales in their territory and does not manage any direct reports or personnel. This is a remote role with some travel required.

They combine strategic sales, relationship management, and deep domain expertise to deliver complex solutions and guide market strategy.
This position manages the sales in their territory and does not manage any direct reports or personnel. This is a remote role with some travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth & Sales: Develop and execute regional business plans, identify market opportunities, and lead the full sales cycle to exceed targets. Attack long incubation customers and work with them consistently to open opportunities.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the "go-to" authority on specific products, supporting sales teams with complex pitches, and offering tailored recommendations. Support new design, customized product development, and second source opportunities by guiding the sales team to the right products and manufacturers.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners within the assigned region. With regard to the company’s supplier partners, work closely with territory sales managers, salespeople, and reps to learn of new business opportunities, understand customers and market needs, and to more deeply penetrate existing customers.
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze regional trends as it relates to focused regional business centers, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adjust strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Technical Guidance & Training: Provide expert input on product development and create training materials for internal teams regarding certain products.
- New Product Selection and Launch: Determine what new products should be added to the company’s portfolio considering likelihood of success, inventory investment, inventory tuns, ROI timelines.
- New Manufacturer Partnerships: Broaden SEA’s manufacturer partners list by forming relationships with factories who produce like or adjacent products as used by SEA customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) preferred but not required.
- Prior sales experience required.
- Experience related to the wire, cable, and tubing industries preferred.
- Possesses customer service skills.
- Able to manage day-to-day activities and exercise independence and adaptability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to effectively interact with a variety of personnel at all organizational levels.
- Ability to meet prioritized set objectives and goals.
- Displays a positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Possesses basic math skills including using Excel to prepare quotations.
Physical Requirements
- This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
- Some travel required as necessary.
