Vast is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator, reporting to the Manager, Talent Operations, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.
This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Long Beach location.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end scheduling of candidate interviews (onsite or virtual) for both technical and non-technical roles
- Coordinate candidate travel and handle associated expenses as necessary
- Act as a partner for recruiting operations problems and find solutions through a mix of data, tools, and collaboration
- Streamline processes to improve both external candidates’ and internal stakeholders’ experience
- Manage clear, concise, and professional communication with candidates and hiring partners in written and verbal form
Minimum Qualifications:
- Willing to work in-person at our HQ Office in Long Beach 5 days per week
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR Coordination, or other human resources function
- 2+ years of experience in coordinating travel for candidates
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a fast-paced start-up or corporate environment
- 2+ years of experience with Greenhouse
- Self-directed with a high sense of urgency while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail
- Strong customer service mindset
- Excellent communicator and problem solver
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and maintain unwavering poise under pressure
- Highly organized with a knack for building relationships
