The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, primarily for frontline, clinical support, and operational positions. This includes sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, conducting screenings and interviews, assessing qualifications, and making independent candidate recommendations to hiring managers. The Recruiter manages the candidate experience throughout the hiring process and coordinates post-offer activities, including background checks, pre-employment requirements, and collaboration with Credentialing and other departments. This position requires sound judgment, strong organization, attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple open positions in a fast-paced environment. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manages full-cycle recruitment for assigned frontline, clinical support, and operational positions.
  2. Partners with hiring managers to clarify position requirements, hiring priorities, and timelines.
  3. Sources candidates through job boards, referrals, community partnerships, recruitment events, and other appropriate channels.
  4. Reviews applications, conducts screenings and interviews, evaluates candidate qualifications, and independently recommends candidates for further consideration.
  5. Coordinates interviews and maintains timely communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  6. Prepares and extends offers in accordance with approved compensation and hiring procedures.
  7. Coordinates post-offer requirements, including background and reference checks, pre-employment documentation, and credentialing when applicable.
  8. Maintains accurate applicant and hiring records in the applicant tracking system and provides recruitment updates as needed.
  9. Ensures recruitment activities comply with Gracelight policies and applicable employment laws and performs other related duties as assigned.
  10. May assist with new hire orientation, background checks, and onboarding tasks. Coordinates with cross-functional departments to prepare and deliver an exceptional onboarding experience.
  11. Keeps up to date on current employment legislation and regulations that affect recruitment and employment.
  12. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years of full-cycle or high-volume recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and common Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of fair hiring practices and applicable employment laws.
  • Strong communication, organization, judgment, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of applicant, employee, and compensation information.
  • Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background check, OIG/SAM exclusion clearance, and all other pre-employment requirements under Gracelight policy.
