Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.

We recently raised $260 million dollar Series C to accelerate this mission. We are excited to be launching a new Factory in Mesa, Arizona, a 270,000 square foot facility that will create 350 new jobs immediately. We are opening a new headquarters to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to serve naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.

Hadrian works with startups, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and major defense contractors across space, shipbuilding, and aviation to scale production, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery on mission-critical programs. We are backed by leading investors including Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz. Our fast-growing team is united by a shared mission to reindustrialize American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond!

The Role

As a Recruiter, Technical you’ll play a critical role in scaling Hadrian’s engineering and technical teams. You’ll own hiring for software engineers and other technical talent building the systems that power Hadrian’s automation, manufacturing, and technology platform.

This is not a traditional recruiting role. You’ll be embedded in a fast-paced, deeply technical environment where strong partnerships with engineering leaders, sharp sourcing instincts, and the ability to move quickly matter every day. You’ll help shape teams that are solving hard, real-world problems at scale.

You’ll join a growing Talent team that is highly collaborative, mission-driven, and focused on building exceptional teams with urgency and care. We work closely with leadership to influence hiring strategy, candidate experience, and how Hadrian shows up in the talent market

What You’ll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for software engineering and technical roles

  • Partner closely with engineering leaders to define role requirements, success profiles, and hiring priorities

  • Build and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality, diverse technical talent

  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience that reflects Hadrian’s culture and values

  • Run efficient, high-signal interview processes that balance speed with quality

  • Use recruiting data and insights to identify bottlenecks and continuously improve outcomes

  • Contribute to broader Talent initiatives including employer branding, market mapping, and recruiting process improvements

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing clear guidance and recommendations throughout the hiring process

Who You Are
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical or software roles

  • Comfortable hiring for complex, technical positions and partnering deeply with engineers and technical leaders

  • A strong communicator who builds trust with candidates and stakeholders

  • Data-driven, process-oriented, and always looking to improve how recruiting gets done

  • Thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly

  • Passionate about candidate experience and building strong, high-performing teams

  • Bonus: Experience recruiting in technical, manufacturing, or hardware-software environments

  • Bonus: Startup or high-growth company experience

Compensation

For this role, the target salary range is $100,000 - $175,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).

This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Benefits

  • 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees

  • 401k

  • Relocation stipend if you’re moving from outside of LA

  • Flexible vacation policy

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
