Position Overview:

Reporting to the Assistant/General Manager, the Receptionist serves as a first point of contact for customers in the retail space and on the phone. They understand that because they are the first faces to greet customers, they must be exceptional at creating intentional customer experiences by being enthusiastic, personable, and welcoming upon every customer’s interaction with the store.

  • Promote an environment and culture that is focused on positive and healthy interactions that align with the Company’s core values 
  • Welcome patients, customers, and visitors with a warm and friendly first impression 
  • Efficiently manage patient check-in procedures, verifying necessary documentation and identification, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations  
  • Provide basic information about available products, services, and procedures, assisting patients in understanding the offerings/benefits  
  • Create intentional experiences for customers by building authentic relationships; exceed the customers' expectations by delivering exceptional service:  
  • Adhere to all company training and operational standards and procedures  
  • Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations governing the dispensary’s operations 
  • Be knowledgeable around company communication, rollouts, directives, and procedures 
  • Abide by all company policies and programs 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 21 years of age 
  • High school diploma  
  • Hiring preference will be given to those candidates with open availability  
  • Open availability is defined as the ability to work all hours required without restrictions, including days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.  
  • All employees must be able to work 2 weekend days (Friday-Sunday), but management reserves the right to assign days depending on workforce needs 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

  • Ability to stand and remain on feet for the duration of a scheduled shift — at least 4 hours per shift for part-time roles and up to 8 hours per shift for full-time roles
  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and twist
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to handle and count currency and operate a POS system

This position starts as a part-time role at $19.50/hour + tips.
