Quantum Machines (QM) is a global leader in quantum computing control systems. Through our pioneering hardware and software solutions with instruction-based quantum control, we're revolutionizing how quantum computers are built and controlled. As we stand at the forefront of exponential growth in quantum computing, we're assembling an elite team that actively shapes the evolution of quantum technology.  

We are seeking for a hands-on technical leader to head our Quantum Control Applications team—a group of experimental physicists and software developers working at the intersection of quantum control and software engineering. In this role, you’ll lead the development of tools and applications that support quantum computing research worldwide. You’ll manage a multidisciplinary team, drive complex software development projects, and collaborate closely with internal teams and advanced customers. This is a unique opportunity to combine scientific depth with software leadership in a cutting-edge domain. Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of physicists and software developers
  • Manage complex software development projects in the quantum control domain
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Product, and Customer Success teams
  • Work directly with advanced customers to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions

Requirements
  • Proven experience leading software development teams and managing technical projects
  • Strong background in Python and collaborative software engineering practices
  • MSc or PhD in quantum physics, computer science, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for advancing quantum technologies
