Summary:
The Quality Engineer at Atomica plays a hands-on role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS) within a high-mix, low volume Microfabrication foundry. You'll collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure products meet rigorous internal and customer standards, driving quality through analysis, documentation, and process support.
Objectives:
- Support RMAs and SCARs; coordinate with engineering and suppliers to determine disposition and communicate with customers
- Investigate non-conformances and support RCA, CAPA, and corrective action processes
- Perform and document MSAs; analyze quality data using SPC and MSA tools
- Maintain ISO 9001-compliant systems (document control, change management, audit readiness)
- Participate in internal audits and maintain calibration and inspection records
- Assist with drafting and revising procedures, specs, and quality documentation
Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS, RCA, CAPA, and non-conformance processes
- Strong documentation and data analysis skills; proficient in Excel
- Comfortable working in cleanroom environments
- Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA) preferred
- US person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations
