Who you are: 

  • 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in SaaS, healthcare tech, or enterprise platforms. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing or leading QA teams. 
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on leveraging QA data for decision-making and continuous improvement. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical discussions. 
  • Experience with QA tools such as Jira, Xray, or similar. 
  • Familiarity with Agile development and release cycles 

What you’ll be responsible for: 

Team Leadership & Management 

  • Manage and mentor a team of QA analysts and contractors, providing daily guidance, coaching, and feedback. 
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning. 
  • Own hiring decisions and resource planning for the QA team. 
  • Advocate for QA priorities in cross-functional team ceremonies like Sprint planning and Scrum reviews. 

Quality Assurance Strategy 

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve QA processes and standards across teams and workflows. 
  • Own the development of test strategies for new features, regressions, and infrastructure updates. 
  • Establish and maintain robust quality reporting mechanisms across daily, weekly, and quarterly cadences. 
  • Define and oversee user acceptance testing protocols in collaboration with Product. 

Testing & Tooling 

  • Lead execution of manual and automated testing for platform features and releases. 
  • Recommend and manage QA tooling for efficient and scalable testing workflows. 
  • Work proactively to identify potential risks in systems, validate bug reports, and prevent issues before they reach production. 

Cross-Functional Communication 

  • Act as the primary liaison between QA, Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams. 
  • Own the triage process for bug tracking, validation, and escalation. 
  • Communicate quality status and key risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Compensation: $110,000-$150,000 
  • Location: Remote 

 

Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. More information about the salary range specific to your working location and other factors will be shared during the hiring process.
