Position Summary: Tidal Basin seeks a competent QA/QC Supervisor to join the team assisting in one or more programs that provide temporary housing and temporary or permanent repairs to damaged homes in the recovery from disaster events. This position represents an exceptional opportunity to join an expert team to facilitate change and help make a lasting difference.    
The objective of the QA/QC Supervisor is to oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) services to an assigned caseload of applicants seeking sheltering or repair services. The QA/QC Supervisor will supervise the QA/QC specialists to ensure that the work is consistent with the Program procedures. Additionally, the QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for meeting file review goals and deadlines, including staffing adjustments to prevent or address bottlenecks.
Additionally, when duties are not met by QA/QC Specialists, the QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for resolving any disputes or elevating the issues to management. The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for ensuring any services provided to the client are documented by the reviewers in the program system of record.  This is a production-based program, so clearing assigned caseloads through queues is an essential job function and success in the position will be evaluated accordingly.  
 

Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervise QA/QC Specialists to provide expert QA/QC services for sheltering or repair assistance in a state funded program. Specific duties may include:
  • Supervise the daily workload of QA/QC Specialists.
  • Manage production goals for the QA/QC unit.
  • Assign staffing responsibilities, including caseloads, to address or prevent bottlenecks.
  • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Oversee general staff training for the QA/QC reviewers.
  • Assist with delivery of work orders to vendors and coordination of travel trailer placement
  • Identify deficiencies in staff execution and provide tailored training to improve QA/QC service.
  • Collect, compile, report and maintain necessary data in program tracking systems for statistics and reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
 Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous QA/QC experience on a federally funded program a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; AND,
  • 3+ years in case management, disaster case management, QA/QC, application processing, public assistance programs, grant-funded or government programs or related fields.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • QA/QC experience with a focus on programs that provide financial assistance to disaster survivors a plus.
  • Experience in case management portals a plus.
