In this role, you will:

  • Own and grow your territory by selling QNX software solutions across Industrial, Medical, Consumer, Defense, Federal, and Commercial Aerospace markets.
  • Develop new business by identifying high‑value prospects, creating new program wins, and expanding QNX’s footprint across your region.
  • Build long‑term customer relationships through trust, responsiveness, and exceptional delivery.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from discovery and qualification through negotiation, closing, and revenue recognition.
  • A collaborative team player who works with cross-functional teams, including Field Application Engineers, Inside Sales, and Business Development, to deliver tailored customer solutions.
  • Shape customer‑driven solutions by working with R&D, Support, and Marketing to align QNX capabilities with customer needs.
  • Forecast accurately and maintain disciplined pipeline management and CRM hygiene.
  • Most importantly: exceed your sales goals and have fun doing it.

Available Territory:

  • US Southwest and Rocky Mountains (Arizona, Colorado and Southern California)

What we need you to bring:

  • Heaps of motivation, initiative and a proven history of consistent quota achievement and over‑achievement in new business and territory growth.
  • Energy and drive to prospect, manage and grow new opportunities in your geography
  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills and the ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Confident, persuasive communication with the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions.
  • A Team Player working collaboratively with the internal QNX community to craft optimal solutions
  • Knowledge of the real‑time embedded software market or adjacent technical domains.
  • Experience in consultative selling of software solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills and success closing large, multi‑element deals.
  • Operational discipline in forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for client visits, trade shows, and internal meetings.
  • Ability to work remotely from a home office.

Compensation Hiring Base Salary Range:

$130,000.00 - $182,813.00

 

Please be advised that the compensation hiring range indicated herein is provided solely as a good-faith estimate of expected base compensation for the position. The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process.

 

Bonus:

The BlackBerry Sales Incentive Pay (SIP) program is a bonus incentive program designed to reward eligible employees for their contributions towards BlackBerry’s sales success. SIP payments are based on an employee’s sales performance against quarterly or full-year quotas for the fiscal year.
