GC AI is the legal AI platform built for in-house legal teams. Your decisions shape the product, your impact is immediate, and you own your work from day one.

More than 2,000 companies run their legal work on GC AI, including 200+ public companies, 25+ unicorns, and teams at News Corp, Nestlé, Miro, Bass Pro Shops, Snyk, Skims, Liquid Death, Vercel, Zscaler, and TIME. The platform holds an 80 NPS, more than double the B2B SaaS industry average, which is why GC AI is the leading legal AI platform for companies of all sizes.

GC AI doubled ARR in six months. We raised a $60 million Series B at a $555 million valuation in November 2025 and won #1 Highest Customer Satisfaction at the 2026 SaaS Awards. Our investors include Scale Venture Partners, Northzone, Sound Ventures, and Guillermo Rauch, CEO of Vercel.

You’ll define how things get built, not follow someone else’s playbook. Six principles guide how the team works:

  • 📈 1% Better Every Day: small, compounding improvements across everything you ship.

  • ❤️‍🔥 Customer Obsession: start with the customer and work backward.

  • 🚀 Ship Today: bias toward action and iteration over perfection.

  • 🧗 Find a Way: resourcefulness and ambition over constraint.

  • 🤝 Care: be direct, like an honest friend, even when it’s uncomfortable.

  • 🎯 Own It: full accountability, proactive communication, and attention to detail.

About The Role

GC AI is expanding across workflows, pricing tiers, and customer segments. We are hiring a Director of Product Marketing to lead the function and own narrative, positioning, pricing, packaging, launches, enablement, and competitive strategy.

You will build the systems and standards needed to scale product marketing. You will partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Marketing to bring every product, feature, and tier to market with clarity and measurable impact.

This role reports to the CMO and combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

What You’ll Do
Lead and Scale Product Marketing
  • Set the product marketing strategy, priorities, operating rhythm, and quality standards

  • Define the team structure and hire, mentor, and develop product marketers

  • Create clear ownership across positioning, launches, enablement, pricing, and market intelligence

  • Align Product, Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Marketing around shared priorities and measures

Shape Product Strategy
  • Use customer, usage, market, and competitive signals to influence roadmap decisions

  • Connect market dynamics and customer needs to internal product priorities

  • Give leadership clear recommendations on workflows, segments, and growth opportunities

Own Positioning and Narrative
  • Define differentiated positioning across product lines, customer segments, and channels

  • Connect product messaging to GC AI’s broader Legal AI category narrative

  • Translate complex legal and AI capabilities into precise messaging for in-house lawyers

  • Maintain consistency across the website, sales materials, product surfaces, and customer education

Product Launch Leadership and Management
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch teams, own timelines, and maintain launch plans with milestones, dependencies, decision owners, and readiness criteria

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategy, including target segments, positioning, messaging, enablement, channel plans, and launch communications

  • Track post-launch adoption, revenue, customer feedback, and funnel performance, then lead reviews and prioritize product and go-to-market improvements

Own Pricing and Packaging
  • Lead pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy across product tiers

  • Use customer research, usage data, willingness-to-pay analysis, and competitive insight to guide recommendations

  • Partner with Product, Finance, Sales, and leadership on pricing and packaging decisions

Equip Sales and Customer Success
  • Deliver talk tracks, decks, competitive briefs, objection guidance, and training

  • Partner with Sales leadership on deal strategy and positioning

  • Maintain current enablement materials for each product tier, segment, and priority workflow

  • Measure whether enablement improves confidence, consistency, and win rates

Lead Customer and Market Intelligence
  • Run structured customer research and win-loss programs

  • Maintain a current view of competitors, category shifts, and buyer expectations

  • Turn findings into go-to-market, pricing, roadmap, and deal strategy recommendations

Build Category Leadership
  • Lead analyst engagement, competitive positioning, and external thought leadership

  • Build relationships with relevant analysts and market voices

  • Develop a credible point of view on Legal AI and the changing work of in-house legal teams

Develop Revenue-Driving Content
  • Oversee case studies, return-on-investment stories, comparisons, and proof points across the funnel

  • Partner with Brand and Demand Generation on content that supports pipeline, adoption, and expansion

  • Ensure customer-facing content is accurate, useful, and grounded in evidence

Measure and Improve
  • Define product marketing metrics tied to revenue, adoption, expansion, and win rates

  • Establish baselines and reporting for launches, messaging, enablement, and competitive performance

  • Use results to refine strategy and allocate resources

What You'll Bring

  • Experience leading product marketers or managing a product marketing function

  • Record of launching hit products

  • Strong background in pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy

  • A record of developing clear, differentiated messaging in complex markets

  • Experience in marketing technical or AI-driven products

  • Strong partnerships with Product, Sales, and Customer Success

  • High-growth startup experience

  • Clear ownership, accountability, and follow-through

How We Work Together

GC AI is a distributed company with team members across North America, and soon Europe. We believe that because our business is AI, human connection matters more, not less. We invest in bringing people together through our hub model: regular coworking sessions, customer dinners, team and company offsites. If you’re in a location without an office, expect up to 10% travel (and more for customer-facing roles).

Team members in the San Francisco Bay Area and Provo, UT (within 50 miles of the office) work together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. As we grow, we plan to establish permanent offices in more hub cities, and we will look to our team members to help build that in-person culture. We currently hire across the United States and Canada.

Equal Opportunity Employment

GC AI is an equal opportunity employer that supports workplace diversity and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender identity/expression, national origin, age, military service eligibility, veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status, physical or mental disability, or any other protected class. GC AI is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to applicants with physical and mental disabilities. #LI-GCAI

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
