The QA Tester will work in Agile environments, focusing on automation testing methodologies, coding, and cloud services, ensuring quality through various tools.
General Software Skills:
- Experience working in Agile development shops
- Understanding of CI/CD methodology
- Experience with Test methodologies (4+ years)
- Familiarity with Azure (Preferred) or any cloud service (acceptable)
- Experience with ADO (preferred) or any open source pipeline tools and project management tools (Jenkins, Concourse, Rally, Jira... etc) (acceptable)
- Familiarity testing and interacting with Data Stores (both relational and non-relational) SQL, MongoDB, Postgres (preferred)
- Familiarity with Virtualization and Containerization tools and concepts
Automation Skills:
- Experience with Automated Testing (4+ years)
- CS degree (preferred) or Equivalent Experience (4+ years coding) (acceptable)
- Ability to both code and read a programming language: C#, Java, Python (preferred)
- Experience with performance test tools: open source (JMeter) (preferred)
- Experience with functional automation frameworks: open source (Cucumber, Behave.io, Spock, Geb, Selenium) and Xamarin (preferred)
