The QA Engineer will define and resolve quality issues, implement control methods, conduct audits, and analyze reporting measures, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to read and interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, blueprints and quality manuals.
- Ability to program CMM is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office Software applications,
- Proficiency within a recognized ERP system
- Be comfortable working within external party internet portals
Desired Skills:
- Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
- Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection
- Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures
- Review customer drawing and requirement and provide quality plan
- Participate in internal and external quality audits
- Preparing Source Inspection for Aerospace customer
- Review and prepare NCR/SRD with customer
- Develop Inspection Plan for NPI
- Work with Supplier for quality issue.
- Update Quality work instruction.
- Train inspector team for specific customer requirement
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 4+ years' of industry experience. Will Aerospace experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry
- Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $81,600-$138,700 salaried. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
