Position Overview
 

We’re looking for a media-savvy communicator who thrives on identifying and telling meaningful stories—rooted in patient experiences, clinical data, milestone news, and news cycle trends. This is a strategic execution role for someone who knows how to package a story, pitch creatively, and amplify impact across earned and social channels—all in close partnership with the PR lead and agency support.

Ideal Candidate Has
 

Healthcare or MedTech PR experience, strong storytelling instincts, comfort working with scientific and business content, and a collaborative, strategic mindset. Brings insight-driven ideas and works in close partnership with the PR lead to pressure-test them through an audience and business lens.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and package stories rooted in company milestones, clinical data, media trends, and audience needs

  • Shape stories for consumer, corporate, business, and trade audiences—via earned media and social channels

  • Manage and grow our patient storytelling program—from sourcing and interviewing to compliant promotion

  • Support earned media strategy and pitching in collaboration with external agency and iRhythm PR lead

  • Amplify media coverage, publications, awards, and leadership visibility across stakeholder channels

  • Translate complex scientific and HEOR data into clear, relevant, and engaging narratives

  • Contribute to corporate social storytelling tied to milestones, awareness campaigns, and reputation-building

  • Ensure timely content alignment and approval through Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, and leadership teams

  • Collaborate on editorial planning and content development aligned to strategic comms priorities

  • Track and report on PR outcomes and stakeholder engagement with an eye toward strategic impact
     

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years public relations—ideally in healthcare, MedTech, or digital health

  • Excellent writing, idea packaging, and media storytelling skills

  • Experience translating scientific or data-heavy content into media-ready and stakeholder-relevant formats

  • Hands-on experience contributing to successful media pitching and packaging—knows what it takes to build compelling stories and generate media interest

  • Familiarity with regulated environments and working with Legal/Regulatory Affairs

  • Collaborative, proactive, and organized, with strong project execution skills

  • Able to define success, set meaningful benchmarks, and present clear, actionable insights

  • Brings insight-driven ideas and helps shape audience-relevant recommendations

  • Experienced in earned and social media strategies, including working with agency partners

  • Ability to support multi-audience storytelling—consumer, HCP, business, and trade

  • Brings a consultant-like mindset—able to structure and communicate recommendations clearly

  • Comfortable collaborating across all levels in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field

Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.

Estimated Pay Range

$112,000.00 - $145,000.00
