Key Responsibilities:

As a Public Relations and Communications Assistant, you will:

  • Craft Engaging Campaign Messages: Develop clear, persuasive messages tailored to target audiences, ensuring maximum campaign reach and impact.

  • Ensure Consistency Across Campaigns: Maintain professionalism and ensure client brand guidelines are followed consistently across all communication materials.

  • Analyze Campaign Effectiveness: Measure and assess the performance of PR campaigns, identify strengths and weaknesses, and provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.

  • Support Marketing Strategies: Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at increasing client brand visibility and engagement.

  • Stay Current on Industry Trends: Continuously participate in industry workshops, trainings, and research to stay informed about the latest PR and communications trends.

  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, including marketing and communications teams, to ensure campaigns are aligned with client objectives and deliver desired outcomes.

  • Provide Team Mentorship: Help support and mentor junior team members in executing campaigns and fostering a collaborative team environment.

  • Uphold Client Brand Reputation: Ensure every communication reflects the client’s values and desired image, maintaining consistency across all media outlets.

Requirements:

The ideal Public Relations and Communications Assistant will have:

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate PR campaign performance, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations for improvements.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities, ensuring effective communication with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

  • Team-Oriented Attitude: A collaborative mindset with proven experience working within a team to achieve common goals.

  • Professionalism: A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a strong respect for clients' brand reputation and needs.

  • Willingness to Travel: Flexibility for occasional travel for events and campaigns (preferred, but not required).

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
