Steno is growing! We’re looking for a Provider Recruiting Operations, Senior Manager,  to join our winning team, which is revolutionizing the court reporting industry every single day. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of recruiting, operations, and strategy—and plays a critical role in scaling and sustaining Steno’s nationwide network of court reporters.

On a regular basis you will 

  • Own market-by-market recruiting targets, ensuring Steno has the right reporters in the right places at the right time
  • Identify, engage, and onboard new court reporters onto the platform
  • Develop and continuously refine Steno’s value proposition for why reporters should engage with us
  • Build, manage, and optimize the end-to-end recruiting funnel, from outbound sourcing to active participation on the platform
  • Determine which industry events and sponsorships deliver positive ROI and advance recruiting goals
  • Provide regular recruiting performance readouts, including identifying funnel drop-offs and opportunities for improvement
  • Design and streamline provider onboarding, including administrative workflows and introductions to Steno’s tools and technology
  • Develop expert-level knowledge of the court reporting industry, including certifications, job types, and what different reporters optimize for
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Ops, Data) to develop recruiting collateral and share feedback on tools and processes


You’re gonna crush it if

  • You have 5+ years of experience working at a high-volume staffing firm or for a company with a two-sided marketplace
  • You have proven leadership and  people management experience 
  • You have a proven ability to own and deliver against market-level recruiting targets, including planning, execution, and performance tracking
  • You have experience building and managing full-cycle recruiting funnels, from outbound sourcing through onboarding and activation
  • You are interpersonally savvy and build trust easily with people from diverse backgrounds
  • You can learn a new industry quickly and become fluent in its mechanics and language
  • You excel at planning and process management, especially building and scaling recruiting funnels
  • You are persistent, adaptable, and quick to pivot when something isn’t working
