Job Overview

(Temporary to Hire Opportunity)

The Provider Quality Assurance Specialist is a responsible for conducting yearly assessments of all network and employed providers per health plans and internal business requirements, thus ensuring regulatory compliance. Specifically monitoring regulatory Timely Access and Availability and providing continuous education of standards via Provider Manual, onboarding orientations, and quarterly educational mailings to promote quality assurance. This position is also responsible for initiating the corrective action process for non-compliant providers including issuing a Corrective Action Plan (CAP), reassessing providers, and involving other internal departments until deficiencies are corrected. Participate in health plan regulatory audits and serve as a gatekeeper and facilitator of all hospital and provider contracts.
