-
Design and optimize core protocol features such as state synchronization, cryptographic modules, and peer-to-peer networking
-
Collaborate on the evolution of the MoveVM and the Move language, driving adoption through tools, SDKs, and technical leadership
-
Contribute to technical roadmaps, write detailed specifications, and lead peer reviews to ensure the quality and scalability of our solutions
-
Partner with our Research Engineering team and external partners to advance our technology stack
You Have:
-
Proven experience building blockchain protocols, particularly L1 technologies (e.g., consensus mechanisms, networking, or node software)
-
Advanced proficiency in Rust, with a strong understanding of systems programming and performance optimization
-
Hands-on experience contributing to L1/L2 projects in similar blockchain core engineering teams
-
Expertise in distributed systems, cryptography, and consensus protocols
-
A track record of delivering production-quality software in complex environments
-
A self-motivating attitude towards learning and development, and continuously push yourself
You May Have:
-
Understanding of blockchain technology and its underlying infrastructure, preferably with Move, Avalanche, or Ethereum
-
Deep understanding of cryptoeconomics and modular blockchain design
-
Open-source contributions to core blockchain protocols
