Honey is helping millions save money on a daily basis and we're growing quickly! Our team is looking for an experienced University Recruiting & Programs Manager to build Honey’s internship program from the ground up! This person will have relationships with key stakeholders at Universities and know the top technical competitions to recruit intern talent from. Being an avid online shopper and Honey user is a huge plus :)

We’re growing and shipping software quickly - this person will need to execute just as quickly.

What You’ll Do:

  • You’ll be building a new university and internship programs playbook that others will follow in the future
  • We’ll be building it differently than you may have done in the past and our approach will be unique and creative
  • Assess and recommend the best strategy to execute on the corporate vision for the program
  • Research, plan and coordinate any sponsored hackathons, competitions, tech talks or events
  • Plan and coordinate all career fairs
  • Build and sustain relationships with university career services staff, faculty, alumni, student organizations, and professional associations
  • Recruit and source from traditional and non-traditional channels
  • Work closely with the hiring managers and the Director of Talent Acquisition to establish a robust intern program that has midpoint check-ins, intern events and establish an “end of internship” process including returning offers and reviews

About You:

  • 4+ years experience managing university and programs at a tech organization
  • BS/BA Degree
  • You have strong relationships with well known local universities and some not as well known or not so local
  • You know where to find and how to identify top software engineering interns
  • You have experience recruiting and identifying talent from non-traditional places such as coding competitions, hackathons, etc.
  • Experience building out a university program from the ground up at a tech company or had a significant hand in it as well as the strategy and execution of it
  • You’ve managed a budget for the different programs, events and career fairs
  • Tremendous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • You work well with ambiguity and are always up for a challenge and constant change
  • You don’t get flustered at the thought of changing priorities or paths
  • Experience with Greenhouse is a plus
