We’re looking for a data center / infrastructure build project manager to oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution of a new data center building including migration of existing equipment, storage, media and networking capabilities from an existing data center.  You’ll play the critical role of coordinating, prioritizing and delivering the capabilities and services that support the Studio Technology, Engineering Operations and Network teams. 

Responsibilities:

• Serve as key point of contact for production stakeholders across Technology departments to develop and manage a comprehensive data center build and migration strategy and execution plan.
• Coordinate and provide guardrails for all data center related technical and operational workstreams from end-to-end.  This includes gathering infrastructure profiles, workstreams and requirements; defining build and migration scope and impacts; and scheduling resources for the technology teams (e.g., IT Infrastructure Engineering, Networking, Operations Engineering, Studio Technology and vendor(s)).
• Work with technology stakeholders to define and coordinate migration outage windows, and build communication plans to socialize them with impacted users.
• Ensure clear reporting of project status from project teams including: timelines, milestone tracking, budget status and issue identification to program management and stakeholders.
• Prioritize, manage and escalate critical network and operational tasks – including data center design, hardware procurement and implementation – and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Help resource managers prioritize and plan sprints for the network and technology engineers – ensuring the highest value, highest impact work is planned appropriately and delivered.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Strong, demonstrated experience with managing data center, infrastructure and technical operations teams (i.e., IT hardware, infrastructure operations & network engineers.
• Previous experience with data center builds and migrations reflecting full span of critical activities including procurement, rack / cage / cabinet planning, cabling, power (PDUs) and space planning, networking, data migrations, and monitoring.
• Experience managing and developing cross-functional teams, including vendors, to meet expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively.
• Good meeting facilitation skills and effective team player.
• Extensive experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet and familiar with Jira.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create workflow drawings and process maps utilizing Lucidchart.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a Content Creation/Production environment.
• PMP certification a plus.
• Certified Scrummaster a plus.
