We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team in Los Angeles and drive our mission to transform the way humans learn, work and collaborate. 

The Technical Project Manager will oversee deliverables across multiple projects and departments by setting project timelines, identifying milestones, monitoring and summarizing the progress of projects, and identifying and managing risks.  

In this role you will:

• Work with Leads, Production Managers, Product Owners, and Vendors to establish key milestones, resources, and dates
• Serve as the main point of contact for kick-off and status meetings by scheduling, attending, and participating and following-up with materials
• Ensure clear communication among the teams, other departments and stakeholder by providing weekly status reports and updates as needed
• Identify issues and risks to delivery of successful implementation and coordinate development action plans to resolve issues and remove impediments
• Provide oversight and/or input into the overall implementation project plan that will align technical deliverables with overall project and company goals
• Manage heavy scheduling and coordination for gathering assets, requirements, and launch details across multiple departments
• Manage data migrations and technical efforts with an understanding of APIs, core application development, and back-end and front-end systems
• Develop a process for maintaining and distributing equipment to internal and external clients
• Develop and a streamlined approval process for internal stakeholders and Fortune 500 clients on updates to existing applications

Education/Experience we are looking for: 

• BA Degree in a technical field preferred
• 5-7 years of experience working in a project manager role
• Strong background in Excel
• Proven track record in strong project-planning
• Experience with API, Git, Jenkins, and Unity
• Expert organizational, documentation, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Proven understanding of different project management processes, including agile methodologies and waterfall
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify areas for improvement and introduce efficient processes
• Strong ability to create and maintain project management artifacts
• JIRA and Confluence proficiency

One or more of these is a plus:

• Experience in VR/AR/MR or gaming background
• Real time 3D product development pipeline preferred
• Experience working with distributed teams
• Experience working with SmartSheet, Atlassian Suite and Shotgun
• Experience shipping interactive and/or gaming products and understand the software development pipeline
