As Technical Project Manager, you'll handle the development and implementation process of our products and services. Coordinating the departmental or cross-functional teams, our TPMs are the ones who focus on delivering new or upgrading existing products.

Primary Focus:

Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules while monitoring budget/spending. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requests

  • Explore, adapt and master our partner tools on both user and technical sides

  • Work with the Digital Strategists to define the appropriate technical solution to deliver an exceptional customer experience given the client’s resources and environment

  • Hold regular meeting with customer, communicate status, manage expectations

  • Hunting for innovative solutions, you identify new, interesting vendors to add to our partner ecosystem, and participate in industry events

  • Define planning and deadlines in collaboration with different team members (digital strategist, designers, developers, ...)

  • You manage tool set up, document the project, train users, and provide customer support if needed. Successful delivery of the project is your goal

  • Ensure projects are being completed on time and the quality of work is consistent with client expectations

  • Resolves any issues and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle, including the design, development and quality assurance testing phases

  • Coordinates all projects with staff and vendors, including those offshore.  

  • Ensures that all project items have been checked and are correct before leaving, including project plans, activeCollab tickets & tasks, resource assignments, etc

  • Work closely with internal product owners to ensure customer require product requirements are documented and delivered on schedule

  • Provide regular status updates, manage project schedule, maintain and drive closure of action registers, track content forecast and delivery

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of direct digital project management experience with an digital solutions provider and/or technology company

  • Must be familiar and have prior experiencing in personally managing Wordpress, custom CMS, e-Commerce websites, as well as iOS and Android mobile applications

  • Forward thinking and highly organized

  • Must be able to interact and communicate with people at all levels in the organization

  • High-level ability to multi-task, including managing multiple projects at the same time

  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills

Nice-to-haves, but not needed:

  • CPM certification

  • Prior UX design or technical programming

  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Flash, In Design, etc.)

  • Published case studies

  • Decks on SlideShare

  • Thought leadership blog posts

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or general business
