Role Overview
The Technical Project Manager will be a key player in ensuring the success of our Product and Engineering roadmap. This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects and communications to all levels of the org; product, project, business, and engineering will be critical. The TPM will be looked to as a servant-leader within their team, helping to identify gaps, remove roadblocks and impediments for the team, and hold all members accountable for a quality delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery from concept to completion by collaborating with engineering teams, product management and developing detailed project plans from development to deployment
- Facilitate team agile ceremonies (standups, grooming, team retrospective and planning sessions)
- Collaborate with other TPMs to understand cross-team dependencies and prioritize the work to avoid impediments
- Effectively communicate project status as well as Risks/Issues/Concerns and return to green plans
Ideal Profile
- 3-5 years of experience managing technical projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, developing, and implementing project plans and delivery commitments
- Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience required
- Have in-depth experience with both Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies
- Experienced in multiple full lifecycle software deliveries from business development to final software acceptance
- Feel comfortable working under tight timetables and high-pressure situations
- Experience with enterprise level tools including Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence), GSuite, Okta, AWS
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including detailing and explaining technical issues
- Proactive and a “Self-Starter”
- High EQ, comfort with ambiguity, and a “no job to small” startup mentality
- Experience with higher education institutions or consulting firms is a plus
- Industry certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, CAPM, or CSM) strongly preferred

Our base compensation amount for this role is targeted at $89,000 - $134,000/yr. All roles include a variable annual bonus amount. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
