WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Manage the delivery of next-generation security platform
- Partner with product and engineering leads to define, measure, and meet established KPI to include velocity and completion of planned work
- Prioritize and escalate critical software engineering and operational tasks, executive project work plans, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Work with senior leadership and other program management leads to assess and define technology roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates
- Support engineering teams in achieving resolution of any gridlock, rather than merely report status. Must have the leadership ability and intelligence to drive “hands on” execution of highly motivated and intelligent team under intense time constraints
- Work closely with cross-functional technical teams to ensure that program deliverables and milestones are defined, scheduled, and executed on time
As a Technical Project Manager you will be expected to:
Be a technical translator
- Ability to deep dive into technical issues and capable of having productive conversations with engineers
- A good understanding in both front and back-end technologies
Remove obstacles for team
- Implement new development methodologies based on team dynamics
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams as a Technical Project Manager in startups
- PMP and/or CSM (1 year preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is preferred
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams to collect feature requirements, scope, priorities, and defining milestones for deliverables
- Knowledge of hardware and software development process and lifecycle
- Use of Jira and Gitlab project management tools (workflows and reports)
- Excellent technical, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills
