We are actively seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to assist our Product & Engineering organizations in execution as we scale our products and systems to new levels. 

About the team: 

The TPM group at Honey provides software delivery lifecycle support intra-team, cross-team with Honey, as well as across the broader Honey and PayPal spectrum of products and services. We are focused on ensuring sustainable, consistent, and efficient software delivery across hundreds of individuals comprised of Engineers, Product Managers, Executives, and PayPal PMO team members. As you would expect, coordination is the name of the game. 

We operate in a transparent environment where being open around challenges being faced is welcomed, in order to collectively resolve them. 

As we integrate more deeply with PayPal projects and teams, we are focused on ensuring quality software creation execution, while meeting the needs of a broader PMO organization. We're working on adapting our processes and procedures to ensure effective visibility and reporting across a larger organization, while maintaining Honey’s efficiency and speed. 

About the Role: 

We are looking for someone who is self-disciplined, a strong communicator, and able to engage with Engineers at a technical level, Product Managers at a product-definition level, and who can stay organized with a wide range of stakeholders. We expect this person to drive our Agile process ceremonies, provide status and reporting as needed to various stakeholders, help identify dependencies across teams, and clear blockers for on-time delivery. 

What You'll Do: 

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Honey, you will: 

• Leverage your fluency in Jira to craft and track Sprints for the teams you’re primarily responsible for (tickets, sprints, workflow, reporting). 
• Collaborate across a wide variety of groups (Engineering, Product Management, PayPal PMO, Senior Leadership) including your fellow TPMs 
• Learn the product features and general technical architecture of your facing teams you’ll be supporting 
• Utilize Jira, Confluence, Clarizen, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office, as your toolset to document projects and status. 
• Identify process gaps and take action to improve them. 
• Assist teams of individual contributors in understanding technical and project  dependencies across Honey as well as PayPal at large. 
• Create, and track, project plans and help us drive software engineering projects to completion. 
• Collaborate and align scope, dependencies, action items, and due dates across teams and organizations. 
• Jump in when you see a blocker and resolve it yourself and/or utilize your influence to get other teams to resolve. 

About You: 

• You have several years of experience coordinating software projects in a cross-functional Agile environment.  
• You have enough technical understanding to distinguish between highly complex software challenges/requirements, versus “simple” efforts. 
• You are able to establish strong working relationships and rapport with Software Engineers, Product Managers, other TPMs -- and are comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders. 
• You tie-up loose ends and are very organized, as you will be juggling multiple initiatives at once. 
• You have a passion for delivery and project management efficiency 
• You share your experience and lessons learned to improve our operations and are open to honest and constructive feedback from others. 
• You are a salient, transparent communicator and an excellent problem solver. 
• You are not afraid to ask questions, ask for help, or call an initiative yellow or red when necessary 
• Great to have: previous hands-on engineering experience in a programming or QA capacity. 
• Great to have: Jira Administration (cloud) experience
