Ring is looking for an experienced Senior Release Manager to design, own, and run our release pipelines. This is a broad role which will focus on outcomes and delivery across all of our development, product, and program teams and will require a special mix of management and technical skills working in high-growth environments. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a release management practice across all product teams and release pipelines aligned with best practices, established methodologies, and experience
• Maintain a release calendar that effectively communicates dates as well as risk and readiness
• Scorecard pipeline health, release velocity, and core quality metrics
• Coordinate and resolve scheduling and resource conflicts
• Organize release sequencing and readiness activities, inclusive of security and operational requirements
• Communicate release pipeline status and dates to a variety of disparate stakeholders
• Work with Product and Program Management to ensure capacity and assist with release planning
• Support and improve tools for continuous integration, testing, and release management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience with managing software development projects, release engineering, or release management
• Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management. PMP and Agile certifications are a plus
• Solid understanding and practical experience of software development life cycles, with emphasis on release management functions
• Proven ability to effectively lead and partner with various levels of an organization to define and execute cross-functional technical initiatives
• Proven organizational influence and relationship management skills
• Excellent customer service attitude, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills using various mediums with broad target audiences
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and MS SharePoint
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies
• Familiarity with the AWS product suite
