About Bodewell

Bodewell is on a mission to fundamentally change the way people treat chronic inflammatory skin conditions like Sensitive Skin, Eczema and Psoriasis.  Our patented plant-based technology was created through a partnership between a renowned bioceutical research laboratory and CPG powerhouse Procter & Gamble.  Unlike the status quo in today’s natural OTC landscape, our technology was put through the same rigorous development process as pharmaceutical medicines.  We’re bridging the worlds of pharmacologic and naturopathic medicine in an evidence-based manner for the first time.  After four years of development and in-market testing, we have raised seed funding from P&G Ventures and M13 Ventures to commercialize and scale this revolutionary treatment and change the lives of tens of millions of people.

The Challenge Ahead

As the Project Manager, you will be one of our first hires and will be an essential member of the team as we bring Bodewell to market.  We have ambitious goals and there is a lot that needs to be done:  acquisition marketing campaigns, new product development, branding & communications strategy, website UX optimization, digital product ideation & development, etc.  Your job is to design and deploy the necessary planning, communication, and management frameworks to allow our entire team to deliver quality work on-time and on-budget.

As part of your role, you will:

• Act as a producer for cross-functional projects, managing your project resources effectively to hit deadlines.
• Establish and effectuate clear communication norms across teams, prioritizing efficiency, clarity, and follow-through.
• Develop a hyper-organized project management process that has key elements such as escalation, progress visibility, and status checks built into the process itself.
• Standardize recurring project plans and operationalize the project planning process.
• Create a feedback loop for project management that includes post-mortems and both quantitative and qualitative feedback metrics.
• Instill a culture of accountability within the entire organization; guide the team in clearly identifying expectations and subsequently hold us collectively accountable.
• Partner with the founding team to establish and embody our company values, mission, and culture.  You’ll be building a company with us from the ground up and you will be a key part of making Bodewell a beloved and rewarding place for all of us to work.

Experience & Skills

We’re looking for someone who is eager to leverage their experience, take the next step in their career, and grow with the company. Our ideal candidate has the following:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of experience in project management in high-octane environments.
• Experience in managing a team of junior project managers is valued.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver training and feedback at all levels of the company and create effective documentation and reference resources.
• Track record of delivering results to challenging problems/situations and can provide examples.
• Start-up venture experience is valued.
• Experience leveraging project management/team collaboration software; Asana is preferred.
