About the Company.

true[X], acquired by Gimbal in 2020, is the leading engagement advertising platform. We deliver effective advertising for on-demand, interactive media to reach consumers across devices (i.e. desktop, mobile, and CTV) through our premium video, productivity, and gaming publishers. Originally founded in 2007, true[X] is headquartered in Los Angeles and New York, with additional offices in Chicago and Seattle.

About the Job.

The Ad Studio is a division of true[X] focused on fostering, challenging, and innovating attention advertising. We are a full-service organization of project managers, designers, strategists, and producers, and we lead creative storytelling by developing insights based on data, functionalities, and KPIs. As a Project Manager, you will be a key member of the Ad Studio, guiding projects from conception to completion in line with best practices.

What you will be doing:

  • Delivering projects on-time, within scope and within budget, ensuring resource availability and allocation

  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Partnering with project management leadership to communicate effectively to the business once an initiative is complete

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors to execute on projects

  • Ensuring processes are adhered to, including timelines, milestones, roles, and responsibilities

  • Managing relationships with internal clients and stakeholders, such as Account, Sales, Ad Ops, and Product teams

  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including leading data entry and extraction for project updates

  • Analyzing Ad Studio products to ensure functionality types, strategies, and capabilities are consistent

  • Adhering to meeting formats created by project management leadership to service different stages of a project, and facilitate those meetings to drive to effective outcomes (i.e., Requirements gathering, workload prioritization, weekly project standups or other adaptive status meetings)

Who you are:

  • An outgoing communicator — you know how to get your point across clearly and effectively, how to land a great sarcastic joke, and when is the right time for each

  • A self-starter — you thrive working in small, collaborative teams with a lot of autonomy

  • A structured planner — you know that early is on time and on time is late, and your calendar organization would make Marie Kondo jealous

  • A proactive go-getter — you take ownership and are accountable for all you do, with the initiative to learn new skills on the fly

What you have:

  • B.A. or B.S in Graphic Design, Media, Communications, or related field

  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in a startup environment

  • Proficient knowledge of project management software and an understanding of Adobe Creative Suite & other project management tools

  • Understanding of how to collect, manipulate, and access data

  • Professional experience supporting client management teams

  • Passion & understanding for design, including UI/UX, user flows, design patterns, and visual language

Benefits & Perks.

It’s no secret that we work hard, but we also strive to create an office environment where the lines between work and play are blurred. This means we offer these great perks to help keep our team healthy, productive, and happy.

  • 100% company-paid health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents, as well as life insurance and disability coverage

  • Unlimited paid time off - we trust your discretion

  • Opportunities for profit sharing, bonuses, and ownership

  • 401(k) plan

  • Cell phone reimbursement and subsidized gym membership

  • Annual professional development stipend
