Project West Wing is seeking a Project Coordination Specialist (PCS) to actively participate as part of a high-performing team analyzing national security space topics. The PCS will be responsible for coordinatingall PWW technical deliverables and projects in accordance with the outlined goals, objectives, specifications, and deadlines. The PCS will ensure that the projects meet high quality standards, are conducted within budget and timeline, deliver according to plan, and demonstrate outcomes that are consistent with the company's values of Dedication to Mission Success, Technical Excellence, Commitment to Our People, Integrity, and Objectivity. The PCS will report to the Principal Director, Project West Wing.
What You'll Be Doing
- Implements detailed project plans to include goals and objectives, scope of work, quality reviews, milestones, and tasks.
- Analyzes projects metrics, prioritizes workflow, assists in the development of deliverables.
- Develops and ensures compliance with project process and procedure guidelines.
- Coordinates project communication issues, milestones and achievement and, at project completion, ensures project artifacts are archived for future use.
- Works closely with technical teams to identify new features and tools to support production processes and workflow. Provides verification and testing for technical team to launch to features.
- Writes technical guidelines to document PWW project coordination policies and convey them to staff.
This is a dual level requisition and can be filled as a Project Coordinator Specialist 3 or Project Coordination Specialist 4.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Project
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- An active TS/SCI clearance
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree, or 8 or more years of relevant experience with Master's Degree(PCS 4, same requirements)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
- Must work well in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects and manage complex, dynamic portfolios of work
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects at one time
- Customer service orientation
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong interest and enthusiasm for national security space
- Project Management Certification
