About the Program Manager, Marketing at Headspace:

At Headspace, Marketing program managers are the glue across multiple teams to bring campaigns and programs to life. They will be responsible for program managing highly visible integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels working with internal groups such as marketing, brand, production, product, and finance and external marketing partners and media agencies.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter, who finds collaborating cross-functionally and thinking critically equally compelling. They should be a strong communicator, nimble, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They are equally strong in understanding marketing strategy as well understanding what it takes to execute against that strategy. We are looking for someone who has worked on a marketing team at a technology or entertainment company as a program manager, project manager, and/or marketing operations manager.

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace:

  • Develop and manage a data-driven, transparent, and inclusive process to develop, garner buy-in, and resource a prioritized project roadmap to bring marketing campaigns to life
  • Drive projects to optimize processes and systems including gathering business requirements, scoping and resourcing projects
  • Work with stakeholders in Brand, Marketing, PR, Production, Business Development, Product, Engineering, etc. to understand project requirements and lead the search for suitable solutions to meet these requirements
  • Prioritize opportunities with high potential value and impact
  • Foster an open and supportive team environment. Be responsible for team output, delivery, and performance
  • Align deliverables and overall direction of project recommendations. Ensure that project continues to stay in scope throughout development.
  • Maintain relationships with team, internal and external agencies to hit roadmap objectives and/or course correct when needed
  • Hold teams accountable to agreed upon processes and timelines
  • Understand scope of marketing priorities and act as a subject matter expert for implementation/solutions
  • Anticipate changes in the internal and outside environment and revise processes that help make these changes
  • Own weekly priority planning, identifying dependencies and scoping timelines

What you’ve accomplished:

  • 6-8 years of program management experience in a marketing and creative environment, preferably at a technology and/or entertainment company
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile culture—someone who embraces and leads through change and ambiguity
  • Excellent relationship building skills and knows how to influence at all levels of the organization
  • An analytical thinker who is data driven, with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs
  • Possess extraordinary communication and presentation skills, able to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organization
  • Thrives in a collaborative work environment and excel under pressure, with experience working on complex, large-scale, time-critical projects
  • Flexible and versatile in nature, able to overcome challenges while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Diligent and extremely organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of agile development, JIRA, Trello, and/or other project management platforms, as well as digital asset management tools
  • This role will be based at our Headquarters in Santa Monica, California

We're located in the heart of Santa Monica on Michigan + Cloverfield, just off the 10 freeway. Bergamont train station is right behind our office.
