Riot Games was founded in 2006 by Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill with the intent to change the way video games are made and supported for players. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to worldwide acclaim. The game has since gone on to become the most played PC game in the world and a key driver of the explosive growth of esports. Players are the foundation of our community and it’s for them we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience. Riot Games is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA and has 23 offices worldwide.

As Production Coordinator, you will be an advocate for the esports broadcast and events team. We work on North America's League Championship Series. You'll look out for the best interests of the team and will help us conquer any looming obstacles or blockers. We believe your collaborative mindset will help to bridge communication between Riot teams to ensure we're all on the same page in the LCS studio. You'll summon your most powerful multitasking skills at home and on the road, where we trust you'll have our back owning all the logistics. Those include broadcast schedules, production budgets, travel arrangements, and catering, and anything else that might be missing.

You'll share a campus with the Central office that serves the whole world, but as a Rioter for the North American region we have a laser focus on leveling up the experience for players in Canada and the United States. We dedicate ourselves to our mission of bringing products to market and orchestrating exciting player experiences. Are you interested?

Desired Qualifications:

  • Convey your thoughts with ease and transparency, whether you're writing an email, giving a presentation, or chatting about the amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant you discovered last night
  • Take pride in your work, and view each new problem as an opportunity for success
  • Approach challenges methodically, sparking discussions as you work towards prioritizing and ideating possible solutions
  • Multitask and handle time so effectively some think you have a double
  • Ability to schedule yourself, casters, external vendors, and everything in between
  • Recognize that situations change and complications arise, and you're okay with that
  • You're coolly flexible and able to handle whatever comes your way, moving seamlessly from one administrative scenario to the next
  • Thrive when the clock is ticking, delivering high-quality results in high-stress situations
  • Identify the holes in an operation and take timely action to deliver solutions with limited direction
  • Nothing gets past you and your eye for detail as you navigate each stage of production with a plan for success

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all scheduling and booking of crew
  • Work with other departments to align schedules across an accurate timeline
  • Execute time card collection and initiate paperwork for freelance personnel
  • Directly handle (contract) PA's and other outside personnel

  • Work with our payroll company to make sure we are staying within California labor law regulations
  • Assist the Production Manager in tracking and updating costs in the budget
  • Handle catering needs for the crew
  • Book travel for roadshows and special events
