UMG is looking for an experienced Process Innovation and Automation Manager to drive process automation for monitoring IT risk management controls and to ensure efficient disposition of technology requests. The Process Innovation and Automation Manager will report to the Senior Manager of IT Vendor Management

What Bandmember Are You?

  • Design and document risk management processes
  • Conduct process reviews to ensure the highest level of quality prior to automation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements to analyze, understand, and document processes in detail for assessing automation feasibility
  • Assess automation opportunities from a technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution
  • Support and participate in proof of concept activities
  • Provide coordination and leadership to communicate status, decisions, action items, scheduled changes and identified/potential risks and issues and provide actionable inputs to mitigate
  • Assist with ongoing automation projects to ensure automation project milestones are achieved in timely manner
  • Stay abreast of industry trends on process automation
  • Own portfolio of projects related to process design, implementation, continuous improvements, and process change control with defined success measures
  • Participate in intake discussions with senior executives
  • Manage the collection, assignment and tracking of technology requests across a wide range of business customers

How You Will Rock Your Role:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical position.
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • Familiarity with Agile iterative development approach
  • Knowledge of the following tools:
    • SharePoint Designer
    • ServiceNow
    • MS Power BI
    • PowerApps
  • Adept at breaking down perceived barriers to ensure progress is made
  • Excellent planning, organization, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to interview colleagues, gather business process details and identify solution requirements
  • Ability to create clear, concise documentation capturing current and optimal processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with end users, peers, management and third parties, including communicating automated solution designs to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to gather and analyze business requirements
  • Ability to effectively assess stakeholder and partner needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of business analysis, project management and implementation in a technical information risk environment
  • Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution
  • Ability to track and monitor project progress, identify project and process gaps, recommend controls and communicate progress to business leaders
  • Ability to learn and act upon dynamic information at a rapid pace in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
