Post Production Lead, Daily Essentials
The Post Production Lead, Daily Essentials will collaboratively support the post production on all areas of Daily Essential content for Quibi.
What You'll Do:
Serve as liaison between Quibi Post Production,internal stakeholders (Creative, Production, Finance, Legal, Business and Legal Affairs, Product, Strategy, Marketing etc.) as well as external partners to ensure all parties to provide transparency into Quibi workflows and provide timely support.
Manage a Post team across multiple daily series
Work closely with the Daily Essential Content Development teams to facilitate, monitor and improve content review workflows.
Develop, implement, and oversee delivery, QC, and CC workflows with external partners and vendors to accurately track deliverables and facilitate efficient and timely distribution of available assets.
Create internal communication workflow between Post-Production, Marketing, PR, Finance, Development and external QC vendors to improve visibility into asset availability and final mastering deadlines
Facilitate the final delivery of Quibi master deliverables; track and managing post deadlines, communicating internally and externally
Create, maintain and update internal and external facing documents related to post production resources, calendars, contacts and various other paper deliverables
Serve as a team lead for the Post Production Managers and Post Production Coordinators to provide support and facilitate a smooth, communicative, professional and positive working experience
Communicate procedures and requirements to external partners to ensure adherence to Quibi’s unique format
Set up, schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings related to dailies, content review, final mastering, and final delivery to Quibi.
What You'll Need:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
Must have 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience as a Post Production Manager in programming across multiple genres (news, sports, lifestyle, entertainment and breaking news environments)
Understanding of live broadcast environments a plus
Experience on the buyer and seller side of production (i.e. Production Company and Studio, Network or Streaming Platform etc.) is preferred
Excellent production and project management abilities; with a healthy mix of both technical and logistical skills and the competence to see the bigger picture while managing the details
Experience tracking status of projects using project management software a plus
Self-motivated, proficient multi-tasker, able to stay organized with a high volume of projects in simultaneous phases of production
Adept at anticipating potential issues, identifying problems, recommending and implementing solutions
Enthusiastic team player, able to communicate succinctly, emanate calm and remain focused in a high pressure, ambiguous environment
Ability to nurture and maintain strong industry relationships; foster and build new relationships
Understanding of industry standards as it relates to production processes and practices
Must be proficient with Movie Magic Budgeting, Google sheets and Docs, G-Drive, Google Slides, Airtable, Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook and familiar with messaging software
- Ability to travel to productions domestically and abroad as needed
- Ability to work across multiple time zones
