Miku is a true tech startup bringing contact-free infant vital monitoring to parents. We’ve developed a premium, design-forward baby monitor that uses our proprietary technology to track a baby’s breathing and sleeping patterns with no wires or wearables necessary.

Office / Project Manager

We are looking for a mature, hungry to learn, self-motivated, well-organized, and personable Office / Project Manager who will assume a wide range of responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate and/or someone who wants to work at a startup and learn every aspect of what it takes to build a new company across everything from business strategy, fundraising, product building, marketing, product launches, content creation, growing teams, etc. You’ll also work closely with everyone from the CMO and CRO to the Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to help with a range of office and project management activities.

 

Job Description

  • Responsibilities will include the following, but will also be dependent on the candidate’s background, experience and interests:

  • Administrative Tasks & Office Management

  • Budget Reporting

  • Team Project Management

  • Some Personal Assistant Tasks

  • Company Culture Management

  • Company Event(s) Planning

  • Organize Staff Meetings

  • Office Inventory and Shipping Management

  • Assist with Online Blog Development

  • Assist with Social Media Planning

  • Other duties as reasonably requested by leadership

 

Qualifications & Skill Set

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Reliable, outgoing, collaborative, and personable

  • Independent and self-motivated with an ability to multitask and prioritize

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong written/verbal communication and follow-up skills

  • Ability to develop clear, actionable steps from overall strategy & completes projects within established timeframes/budget

  • Ability to motivate a team and maintain a positive work environment

  • Creative problem-solver with a talent for designing and implementing new processes

  • Skilled in Research, Data Entry, and Budget Reporting 

  • Good Knowledge of Social Media Platforms

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Keynote, and Quickbooks (a plus)

  • Must be tech savvy with deep understanding of current & forthcoming technologies

  • Experience in a fast-paced eCommerce business, startup or related brand highly preferred.

  • Located in Los Angeles.
