Job Description

Apeel Sciences is seeking a motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented candidate with a background in operational project management to work within the Operations Team at Apeel Sciences. The Integrations Project Manager will be responsible for managing simultaneous customer integration projects in several countries across multiple teams at Apeel Sciences, from project inception through ramp-up, to steady state commercialization. This involves primarily internal-facing coordination and management to ensure that our products, equipment, and services are successfully launched and integrated into our customers’ operations. The Integrations Project Manager will interface closely with Supplier Relations Account Managers on the Apeel Sciences Revenue Team, who will manage external-facing communications with Customer staff to execute commercial integrations. The Integrations Project Manager will also assist in follow-on coordination and support of steady state operations at commercial sites. The Integrations Project Manager will be tasked with managing budgets and resources (people and capital), while leveraging project management tools to ensure efficient commercial program launch and execution in support of company goals. The Integrations Project Manager will also play a critical role in managing and improving upon an integration playbook, organizing and disseminating information to relevant parties, and capturing key learnings throughout the organization for future integrations.

What You'll Do

• Manage multiple, cross-functional customer integrations from initiation through steady state commercialization.
• Master the use of digital project and knowledge management tools to track, analyze, and archive project-related deliverables, progress, and learnings.
• Effectively leverage resources (people and capital) to complete projects economically and expeditiously.
• Systematically capture and manage knowledge, including (but not limited to) the organization and dissemination of key information, and the documentation of key learnings from customer projects.
• Clearly and effectively communicate (in written and verbal forms) to cross-functional teams as well as to senior management.
• Engender support for and build consensus and buy-in for decisions made prior to and during customer integrations.
• Provide recommendations to help move integrations and steady state operations forward— particularly in times of impasse, ambiguity, or conflict.
• Work effectively to manage and strengthen working relationships among project teams.
• Identify deficiencies within the current project management framework and construct new project management architectures to address deficiencies or add strategic value.
• Coordinate steady state support for field staff at operational sites, including inventory replenishment, issue resolution, documentation submission, and process improvement initiatives. 
• Act as liaison between field staff and Apeel Sciences’ Santa Barbara Office to maintain active and clear communications and support. 

What You Bring 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent operational and project management experience. 
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred. 
• Formal work experience (minimum of 2 years) in project management role is required.
• Experience with project management tools such as productivity software, Gantt charts, and knowledge management databases is preferred.
• Ideal candidates will have demonstrated organizational ability and high attention to detail.
• Individuals with strong interpersonal skills and experience working in interdisciplinary teams will be given preference.
• Candidates who have demonstrated effective written and/or verbal communication in various technical fields will be given preference.
• Candidates with experience in a technical or highly regulated industry or experience managing capital projects will be given preference.
