The team is currently looking for a Data Products Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join their team.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. However, initially the selected candidate will be working hybrid (mostly virtual with expectation to work onsite as needed) at and/or near one of the listed location options. When Boeing directive is to work 100% on site, the selected candidate will be expected to work from their Boeing designated location. Position Responsibilities Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead large project(s) execution ensuring completion of program phases and maintains accountability for overall program health, maintaining situational awareness and taking appropriate action to ensure successful projects. Implement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved. Monitor appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan
  • Lead activities to determine project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the business process development and system development lifecycle. Negotiate changes to program/project baselines. Identifies and negotiates for necessary resources to meet program/project goals. Lead the analysis and recommendations on resource allocation. Identify key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers
  • Direct activities to evaluate, define, deploy, manage, report and support projects with common Agile standards and best practices, processes, quality, tools and process/performance metrics. Lead the implementation of Program Management Best Practices including developing and executing integrated plans, policies, and procedures from a project management and portfolio management perspective; identification of program/project risks, issues, and opportunities and mitigation
  • Proactively communicate with peers and partners throughout Boeing, including supplier partners. Keep others informed by communicating project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, providing presentations and listening to others concerns and suggestions
  • Establish partnerships and engage with internal and external stakeholders, maintain relationships/partnerships with internal/external customers, peers and partners to develop strategies, goals and objectives that are consistent with organization strategy and drive business solutions
  • Use Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile subject matter expertise to lead teams in execution of Agile projects, coach organizations and teams on methodology and practices, and influence leaders and change agents on the culture change required to shift from a traditional to an Agile methodology and mindset
  • Communicate effectively via multiple channels including virtual and face-to-face meetings, email, presentations, dashboards and other project management tools and mechanisms
  • Actively work to update/upgrade level of expertise or knowledge

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Experience in strategic planning (project/program management)
  • Experience in a role that required organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects
  • Experience with Project Management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), ITG Clarity, BORIS

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • SAFe, Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Previous experience in a breadth of project management and/or technical roles that employed Agile delivery
  • Collaborator who inspires partnership and becomes an influencer who builds a positive brand.
  • Passion around the agile values and principles to be an inspiring and confident evangelist for the organization and enterprise.
  • Ability to use facilitation techniques to draw people and their ideas out and to connect them with other people in a way that leads to positive outcomes.
  • Exhibit a real passion for continuous learning and look to provide knowledge to facilitate classes, workshops and other sharing events such as agile roundtables, individual and team trainings.

Typical Education / Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation :Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
