The Ring CRM team is seeking an experienced Program Manager, Device Health and Acquisition. This role will drive marketing metrics across the suite of Ring products and will have experience and demonstrated interest in email and cross-channel marketing (push, search, social) strategy, program management, creative execution, testing and reporting of results. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for working directly with Creative, Product, and Data Engineering teams to answer questions like: How well are we acquiring, engaging, retaining, and reactivating customers? How does marketing drive incremental customer value over time? How can we segment and reach customers to maximize business performance?

This is a highly creative and analytical position that will execute current program needs while helping define and build growth metrics for the program across the US and internationally. The candidate will work on multiple projects with 3 - 4 teams at the same time while raising the bar on ownership, showing tremendous bias for action, earning trust and driving influence to deliver results. This person will need to take big goals and break them down into smaller actionable items against hyper-targeted segments, craft these into multiple work-streams and project plans. The ability to adeptly manage stakeholders, bring different teams with divergent views on the same page and set/ execute on realistic expectations will be crucial to the success of the role. The individual will need to be great at anticipating needs and planning ahead, while maintaining the highest standards of delivery through multiple events. This role requires experience with email systems and requirements for campaign development, including expert knowledge of triggered email campaign and workflow structures. 

Responsibilities

  • Work at the strategic level (generating ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing campaigns with marketing automation tools, analyzing campaign data, solving problems, and making continuous improvements based on performance, trends, and insights)
  • Leverage domain and competitive landscape insights to shape customer segmentation, create complex experiment frameworks, analyze results, and structure programs covering a wide variety of customer-facing channels and touch-points
  • Use customer research, hard data, and metrics to back up intuition and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
  • Work effectively in a deadline-driven work environment, where multitasking while maintaining quality and attention to detail are the norm
  • Deliver results with strong bias for action
  • Taking ownership of existing engagement campaigns and making continuous improvements to drive towards current goals 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in marketing, advertising or related discipline
  • 5+ years of Customer Marketing, Acquisition and/or Retention, within digital, advertising or similar, preferably with e-commerce consumer product experience 
  • 5+ years experience with marketing automation/Marketing CRM/ Digital Marketing tools
  • Ability to manage and report on multiple projects within tight timelines with proven leadership skill and strong analytical skills
  • Experience with multi-variate, A/B testing 
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful marketing plans that are creative, hypothesis driven and highly analytical
  • Demonstrated expertise in consumer acquisition, engagement and retention

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume, start-up environment
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as good interpersonal skills
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are important for this position
  • Must be an independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and a strong desire to be part of building something new
  • Proven ability to think clearly in a deadline-driven environment; ability to manage multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables
  • Successful candidate will be a self-starter, be comfortable working with large datasets, and have an ability to break down complex concepts and communicate them effectively
  • Experience with marketing research and developing business cases using qualitative and quantitative data
  • Strong quantitative and analytical aptitude
  • Strong data management skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write or edit queries in order to mine the data needed to measure results and inform decisions
  • Localization experience preferred
  • Experience with customer.io, MailChimp, SendGrid
  • Experience with CDP/CDI platforms
