Ring is seeking a Commercial Strategy Manager. In this role, you will work cross functionally with business leaders across the company—GTM, Channel, Sales Ops, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal—to strengthen Ring’s strategic position in the marketplace and drive strategic growth in Offline and Online channels. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in a combination of marketing, analytics, partnerships, and sales. In this role you’ll be wearing different hats, so you should be comfortable jumping in and out of projects both strategic and operational.

Business Planning

  • Own the promotional strategy and planning across all channels from iteration, developing our bundling strategy, modeling, forecasting, and post analysis reporting to inform our decision making on future programs.
  • Partner with retail teams on strategic business planning, identifying opportunities, and evaluation to deliver marketing solutions that drive profitable sales growth.
  • Partner with sales leadership in crafting analysis, actions and messaging for key strategic topics, and monthly/quarterly business review meetings.
  • Foster and facilitate alignment across the sales and marketing business unit around data and insights to develop the view on global growth and household formation. 
  • Work closely with product marketing teams to imbue business cases with objective strategic rationale.

Competitive Analysis

  • Translate consumer, competitor, technology, retailer data, macro trends and market segment share into actionable insights.
  • Develop fact-based, quantitative analysis of consumer and competitive trends, with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Build high-level business models and business cases for opportunistic programs and distribution channels.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in a combination of marketing, business management roles in CE or Retail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High-energy, strategic thinker, with strong quantitative and analytical skills, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proven history of project leadership and positive results in a highly cross-functional, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Functional understanding spanning sales, product-brand, retail marketing, sales operations, supply chain, and finance.
  • Consultative mindset, with the ability to influence without direct authority, and to develop strong cross-functional partnerships.
