The Role:

The SnackNation Brands team is on a mission to put the best brands in front of their target audience at the right place, at the right time. And to do that, we’re looking to hire a passionate, experienced Associate Merchandiser to manage the snack curations for the millions of people we reach every month.

The Associate Merchandiser will develop our merchandising strategy and roadmap as we continue to expand into new markets. Reporting to our Merchandiser and working directly with both the Brands and Operations teams, the Associate Merchandiser will create one-of-a-kind curations for SnackNation’s omni-channel shopping experiences. The Associate Merchandiser will assume responsibility for all aspects of our monthly merchandising process, including Bill of Material creation, day-to-day operations and execution, and support long-term strategic initiatives for the Brands team.

This role will be working across many teams, so strong organizational and communication skills are essential. We’re looking for a self-starter who can define a path forward, manage our merchandising campaigns, and ensure success for both our customers and the brands we serve. What you'll do:

  • Support SnackNation’s omni-channel merchandising strategy via set KPIs and success metrics
  • Collaborate with our Brands team to assess the right snacks for our programs and own the assembly of those snacks into the best curation for our members nationwide
  • Own curation development and management in NetSuite
  • Work with our Inventory Managers to monitor volumes and ensure the right product is available for the successful execution of partnerships
  • Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to leverage content and understand all possible opportunities for promotion across all platforms
  • Work with our Brand Ops Specialist to develop and deliver the reports necessary for assessing our partner brands and sourcing new ones at market
  • Work with the Operations team to identify new ways to optimize inventory and maximize the value of inventory within the context of a world-class customer experience

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree 4+ years’ experience in a planning or merchandising role (ideally omni-channel)
  • Outstanding communication skills: You take time to know your audience, understand their needs, and present your ideas and questions clearly, thoughtfully, and quickly. You also embrace the idea of radical candor—feedback (both positive and constructive) is a lynchpin in our team dynamic.
  • Comfort with the uncomfortable: You don’t shy away from the big problems and complexities. You are enthusiastic and passionate about connecting the best better-for-you brands with the right audience nationwide, and vice versa.
  • Project management: You can easily manage various different projects and campaigns while staying on-track with deliverables and communications.
  • Catalyst for change: You share SnackNation’s energy and drive to disrupt the conventional ways of how brands come to market and connects with their future customers.
