The Art Outsource Producer role lives in our Production discipline. Rioters in the Production discipline lead the vision of each individual product across the finish line, and assist in building and delivering experiences beyond our audience's expectations. We’re involved in almost every product you can think of, be it an epic new skin, the Mechs vs. Minions board game, or the internal tools needed by engineers or artists to speed up their craft. Whatever the calling, we identify and deliver the solution that our audience needs.

As an Art Outsource Producer, you’ll lead passionate cross-functional teams in creating innovative content and incredible experiences for players around the world. By encouraging teams to collaborate, you’ll drive development, smashing through obstacles and driving projects into players’ hands. You’ll meet and exceed expectations by helping concept, deliver, improve, and influence creative projects at every stage of production.

As an Art Outsource Producer specifically focused on League of Legends, you’ll be responsible for the entire external Art Pipeline for Riot’s flagship title, League of Legends. You will work internally with creative teams that set direction and technical teams that generate and maintain proprietary art pipeline tools, and externally with vendors that produce content like skins, wards, and other in-game products. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to increase the go-to-market speed of the content that players love, which will ultimately provide a positive impact for both players and Riot alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver League of Legend skins content via vendors.

  • Define, build, and handle the internal team responsible for external content delivery.

  • Collaborate with Art Director to ensure quality targets are defined and met.

  • Manage vendor relationships; contract negotiation, staffing, performance management.

  • Manage the budget and cost of vendor spending.

  • Execute against the unified content strategy for League of Legends.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to improve outsourcing content workflows and pipelines.

  • Accountable for outsourcing team work system and art feedback flows.

  • Coordinate with supporting teams, e.g. localization, publishing, audio, illustration etc, to get skins fully integrated and shipped.

  • Report skins performance results and performance.

  • Identify, track and improve key team metrics for both internal and external teams.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of related industry experience.

  • Have worked with external development.

  • Delivered art content for games, animation, vfx or related industry.

  • Improved work systems for teams.

  • Worked with and led agile teams.

  • Hands-on experience developing art content preferred but not required.
