Project Manager

Phoenix Consulting | Remote (UK-based) | Full-Time

About Phoenix Consulting

We are a fast-growing technical consulting and implementation partner, helping organisations deliver end-to-end digital transformation across enterprise IT platforms, Cyber Security, systems integration, cloud and ERP, with Salesforce as one of the platforms we specialise in.

Our business focus includes energy, Healthcare, and we have a long track record of success through organic and new business growth.

We are trusted by our customers for our ability to deliver complex, high-value programmers and for working in deep partnership with their teams.

The Role

We're looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of client engagements across our Salesforce, SAP, and NetSuite practice areas. You'll own project delivery end-to-end — from scoping and planning through to go-live and handover — working closely with consultants, clients, and Phoenix leadership to keep engagements on time, on budget, and on scope.

This is a fully remote role, but you must be based in the UK and able to work UK business hours, as our client base and team operate primarily on GMT/BST.

What You'll Do

  • Own delivery for multiple concurrent client projects across implementations

  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource schedules

  • Manage project budgets, track burn against SOWs, and flag scope creep or change requests early

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day delivery matters

  • Coordinate cross-functional consultant teams, keeping work unblocked and on track

  • Run regular status reporting — internally to leadership and externally to clients

  • Identify risks and issues proactively, and drive them to resolution

  • Support commercial conversations around change orders and scope extensions

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Phoenix's delivery methodology and templates

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years' experience in project management within a technology or IT consulting environment

  • Proven experience delivering ERP or CRM implementation projects (Salesforce, SAP, or NetSuite experience strongly preferred)

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

  • Strong command of project management fundamentals — planning, budgeting, RAID logs, change control

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to senior client stakeholders

  • Self-directed and comfortable working in a fully remote, distributed team

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification a plus, but not required

  • Based in the UK and able to work UK business hours

What We Offer

  • Fully remote working, with a genuinely flexible, trust-based culture

  • Work across varied, high-calibre client engagements in the Salesforce, SAP, and NetSuite ecosystem

  • A close-knit, senior team where your input on delivery approach genuinely shapes how we work

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience

Phoenix Consulting is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
