We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.

Overview

The ideal candidate for this role is a data-driven and execution-focused Project Manager, Supply Chain Analytics, who thrives in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. You should bring a strong foundation in data analysis, supply chain fundamentals, and cross-functional project coordination. At Joby, you’ll play a critical role in bridging data with action — supporting part readiness, supplier risk mitigation, and alignment with aircraft development milestones. Your ability to extract insights from complex datasets, communicate clearly across teams, and drive projects to closure will directly impact our ability to bring revolutionary air transportation to market.

ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Analysis
  • Analyze supplier performance, procurement trends, and inventory data to identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, lead times, inventory turns, and forecast accuracy.
  • Support demand planning, capacity analysis, and sourcing strategies using data-driven modeling.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  Project Management
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional supply chain initiatives such as supplier transitions, cost reduction programs, and system/tool implementations.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables in collaboration with engineering, procurement, operations, and logistics teams.
  • Track milestones, identify risks, and escalate roadblocks to ensure successful, on-time execution.
  Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with procurement, planning, logistics, engineering, and finance teams to align on supply chain strategies and priorities.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective communication and decision-making.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or procurement.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL, with experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft D365).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate projects across diverse teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desired
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Python, strong preference for experience working with Databrics
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools for dashboard creation and reporting
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably D365)Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOMs), part-level hierarchy, and item traceability
  • Understanding of procurement processes, supplier lead times, and sourcing lifecycle
  • Ability to manage and track project timelines, deliverables, and risk logs across stakeholders
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, or other project management tools
  • Experience working in aerospace, automotive, or other complex hardware environments
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data and drive insights-based decisions

The compensation package for this role includes a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $113,200 - $205,500 per year. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
