Job Description:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Project Manager II (Cost Management) to join our National Mission Critical team!

This individual will be primarily responsible for financial management of assigned projects, including budget management, change management, cost projections, and profit projections under limited to no supervision, working with schedules, cost projections, contracts, and project status reports.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Participate in owner/client sales presentations.

  • Monitor job costs.

  • Prepare and control budget, schedule, and bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts; prepare profit projections.

  • Conduct project close-out duties, including subcontract and prime contract reconciliation.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

  • 6+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (Mission Critical/Data Center experience preferred)

  • High level of honesty and integrity.

  • Manage complex budgets, potentially multiple at one time.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, SmartSheets, and Nexus).

  • Advanced knowledge of budget management, estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.

  • Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors, cost consultants, and owner/clients.

You will really stand out if you have:

  • Proven knowledge of complex projects such as mission critical, healthcare, laboratory, or manufacturing with contract values of $100M+.

  • Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Strong financial management and change management background.

Compensation:

The salary range is $112,000 - $145,000. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
